i thought i noticed your avatar change while i was switching pages. i thought it was just a glitch in the matrix at first but i guess that makes sense too.
Ok so i finished watching Naruto, now i'm at Shippuden, watched 35 eps and it's really great so far
Gaara has become my favorite character right now and Sakura isn't so useless and annoying anymore, plus Kakashi is a bit more awesome now
I'm really loving it right now
So this guy is having a weird dream where everyone he sees is replaced by people he knows. This results in Obama being replaced by a 13 year old girl:
I'm avoiding Sword Art Online. I heard it starts awesome and devolves into a stupid love story

It's really funny how Gaara starts the series as evil incarnate, and later you'll see he becomes the most pure-hearted character on the show. Very few characters, if any ever, have made such a successful jump from chaotic evil to lawful good.

Not really stupid. I mean, if you're not into love stories, whatever. But I wouldn't call it stupid, as it makes sense plot-wise.

I wouldn't say stupid, but it's pretty lovey dovey after awhile, and then turns into a princess in the castle story. It's really a love it or hate it show. Though a lot of guys also love the show because they're in love with Asuna.
I think a lot of people were expecting a big action show, and didn't expect a romance.

If anything, there's times when action is de-emphasized. Example: Episode 14.
Which one was that one? Is that the one where they spend the entire day just hanging out?
(Possible spoiler)
One thing i really like about Shippuden so far though is that the main bad guys are the akatsuki, rather than just orochimaru. Which btw, i'm getting pretty tired of the whole "finding Sasuke" thing, it's not like he'll just come back when you catch up to him, they're acting like they don't get that...

It's the last episode in SOA the game. Episode 15 sees our hero back in the "real world".
Edit:
Note that I say "de-emphasized" in this case, because we all expected a climatic fight. But the "fight" ends up being rather lame. It's almost like the writers didn't want the fight to be the main focus.
