I've just been watching Certain Magical Index, i put it of for about a week because i was really busy for several days. My favorite part with shorter shows is that everything tends to happen faster instead of taking 5 episodes for a guy to charge up his attack like in Dragonball Z

DBZ is pretty bad about that. I've not watched Naruto, but that has a lot of filler, I hear. Bleach is good with battle scenes, generally, but it's REALLY long. Those are the only shows that seem to follow the long-ish epic kind of storyline I can think of, right now.
Edit: Also, InuYashu...never seen it, but had a buddy who loved it.
I just looked up the basic plot of A Certain Magical Index, and it looks pretty interesting. I may add it to my list of shows.
I wouldnt recommend Inuyasha, it gets really repetitive after awhile. The fights in Certain Magical Index only last an episode or a couple of episodes each instead of dragging them out with character back stories or them discussing their attacks for several minutes.

Repetitive, in what way?

I don't mind long fights so much. It's just that it gets ridiculous if the whole episode is a bunch of threats while the good character & the bad guy power up, a la DBZ.
Inuyasha gets really repettive in where after they introduce the main antagonist Naraku it just turns into "ohay it's him, let's kick his ass. oh no he ran away, let's spend the rest of the season finding him"
Looked up the ending and they kill him pretty much and the end of the series.
Yeah, Inuyasha was always boring to me.

Ok, fuck that. Sounds boring as hell. lol
The show was interesting at first, but it started to drag after a couple of seasons.
Why thank you. :3
I was going to make note of it earlier, but forgot.
I should use it on UG too.
