I guess I wouldn't know. (I'm not Japanese, after all.) But I always assumed that, because of the small space of most Japanese houses compared to American houses, they're forced to cram more stuff into less space. Of course, they could just own less stuff than us Americans tend to.

Quote:I think for those longer shows, they don't put a ton of detail into the scenery because the episodes come out pretty regularly. For the shorter ones like Kyoani makes, for a show with multiple seasons, they come out pretty sporadically so season 1 will come out in 2006, and season 2 will come out in 2009. Now some come out a bit sooner like a year and a half later, but that's quicker than when the next season of Bleach comes out.
Yeah, that all makes sense.

It really depends on where they live, if you live in Tokyo, it's pretty cramped, but if you live in a moderate sized town, you can have a pretty decent sized house.

Well, I'm going to assume that Karakura Town is a mid-size Japanese town then. I used to always assume it was like Tokyo suburb or something though.

This is what the bleach wiki has to say:
"Karakura Town is the hometown of Ichigo Kurosaki. It is a small city with an average-sized population, most of which is unaware of the ghosts and spiritual forces that exist there."
So I guess it makes sense why her house is that size.

Hey, I loved Bleach. Maybe not my all time favorite, it had a number of boring moments, but I thought everything else was pretty great. Especially the whole Espada arc. That's the best. The final arc was second best imo.

I'm in the middle of the Espada arc.
I say the series cheesy though, but it's really not cheesier than most Anime. I don't know. I'm so used to people around here being like, "Oh, Bleach is SO cheesy". So, my usual first point is, "I know it's cheesy. I don't care".

Dragon Ball Z is really cheesy if you look back at it now, but apparently nobody's allowed to criticize that show because it's a sacred cow thanks to nostalgia.

I thought it was cheesy when I was 13. It was still cool. But it was like, "Dat speech was so...cliche". Of course, then when the bad guy got blown away, THAT was cool. Now, it all seems cheesy.
