People who walk in the middle of the street when there's a sidewalk right next to them. Don't get me wrong, if there isn't a sidewalk, I'd let them slide, but there's really no excuse when there is a sidewalk.

Heh, I got mad at my sister for doing that earlier.

Also, when there's a crosswalk half a block down and people jaywalk...that's annoying. It's just plain laziness. Plus, instead of being polite to the cars and waiting until the crosswalk sign says it's safe to go (which they would presumably be doing if they used the damn crosswalk), they often make cars going the speed limit stop for their lazy asses.
Tbh I've been guilty of that kind of jaywalk, a few times, but I don't really have an excuse for doing it.
I jaywalk a lot, but thats because I've only ever lived in small towns where no one gives a fuck. In cities I stick to the cross walks unless its late and there are no cars.

I will walk in the bike lane going to school if there are people coming the other way on the sidewalk, but thats kinda different. I will also walk in the road in residential areas sometimes.
The only time it really bugs me is when it's like downtown area of a fairly busy town or city. If there's cars going up and down the street constantly during the business hours, then jaywalking across that busy street(s) is just asking to be hit, imho.

Not that I think it'd be ok to hit anyone who jaywalks in that scenario, but it just doesn't seem very smart for them to do that.

In small towns, where there is no busy streets and stuff, then...yeah, jaywalk whenever you want. In residential areas with almost no traffic, same thing. Confusedhrug:
Well I still don't see a need to walk in the middle of the street when there's a sidewalk 10 feet away.
I walk in the street sometimes in residential areas in my hometown just because there are always trash cans and stuff on the sidewalk, plus I don't want to be awkwardly close to people getting out of their cars. Sometimes I walk on the sidewalk though. It kinda depends on the street.
but it defeats the purpose of a sidewalk if you don't use it.
Its residential though, if theres kids running around in the street, I don't see why I shouldn't walk there. I don't walk on the street all the time. Also some of the houses on one of the streets I'm thinking of have bushes and trees and stuff that get in the way of the sidewalk.
I swear roads are just more comfortable to walk on. Maybe because there's more space or sutin.

Drove a manual for the first time today. GrizzleGrizzleGrizzleGrizzle.
