Maybe it's just that my friends are all in their 20s, but I seem to miss all these internet trends like Flappy Bird and Harlem Shake.
I don't have a smartphone so thats how I avoid all that.

But seriously, if you haven't liked George Takei on facebook, you should do it. He has not posted something yet that did not make me laugh. Every post is a quality post.
My sister met George Takei

No wonder he's gay.

That's coo', though. Not him being gay, that doesn't need saying, but your sister engaging in interaction with him.
Where and how did she meet him?
It was at this convention called Dragoncon
It's always very stupid to me when people think they have "won the argument", as if the goal of it was to win. Not, you know, to have a conversation. It's like feeling "superior" in their own knowledge does more to prove they're right/correct. Me, I just want to have a damn conversation.

It's also very funny to me when you ask for a source and they spew out a bunch of other stuff, which (while related) didn't actually give you a source to support the particular point that you wanted a source for.
Besides the whole "it's not about who won", it's even more annoying when those people think they've won while their points didn't even make sense nor prove them to be right.

But yeah, I often saw people trying to start a conversation and it turned into people trying to prove them wrong.

Many try to avoid people asking for their source because they either don't have one or their source is some random guy from the bodybuilding forum.
On the other hand, people who make a point, you challenge them, and then they give you an academic paper that says exactly what their point is, are the best people to argue with, because you actually learn something.

And that was one hell of a sentence.

I saw that on FB, though if this helps it make sense, Ashley is Alljudaspriest if you didn't know.

Anyway, there's some fun stuff going on the past couple days after I banned Terror on here, and his little retaliation of hiding in his staff forum thinking I can't read him hiding the majority of the story.

The sad thing here, is that he started noticing that his users stopped posting in his forum and registered here, and he immediately made a new forum and crying that I "bullied" him.

So for the past week or so, me, Wahnsinn, and There were planning on ditching him by making big "fuck you" posts and leaving him (I still have them), and didn't expect this whole shebang to go down. So seeing how Terror looked like he was going to close his forum down, me and Wahnsinn made our big fuck you posts, and of course he had his hissy fit over that.

The real pathetic part here, is that he still believes he has done nothing wrong. People ditched him on his forum, and he gets himself banned on multiple forums, yet thinks that everybody else is evil and out to get him.

When he gets in arguments against some of us, he thinks we're out to get him, and always want to be against his opinions on purpose. He's friends with Crashbreaka, and they usually get along good, but lately even he's disagreeing with Terror, which you'd think that would open his eyes, that the guy he brags about trusting disagrees with the shit that's been going down.

This ended up a lot differently than what I expected, but I hope that he eventually learns his lesson, though it is kind of bad that it happened the hard way. You would think that seeing your own forum ditch you would be an eye opener that you fucked up, but sadly it looks like he didn't learn a thing.
