It does a little bit, thanks. I just feel like I should know more and be more 'useful' :\
Well, what do you mean by 'useful'?
I feel like I should just know more. Have more skills, talents, knowledge. I dunno :\

Plus, how do I get interested in other things and actually dedicate myself to learning them? Because it seems like I have the hardest time sticking to learning something even if I want to do so.

I know what you mean. I've been through that before. Hell, sometimes I still feel like it. But when I feel like that, I think of things I am good at. There are things you're good at, I'm sure. No, in fact, I know there are. I may not know specifics, but there'll be something. So there's no need to feel inadequate. And yeah, this sounds a little self-help pamphlet bullshit-y, but you take the point.

At the end of the day, the only thing that's useless is feeling useless. If you think you don't know enough, just remember - no one does. Envy of others is useless as well, as they'll have problems too. Maybe they feel inadequate, just in different ways.

What I'm saying is, it's easy to focus on negatives. Don't self-pity, just keep going.

It depends. How do you normally go about learning something? Maybe try doing it in a different way. Maybe don't sit down and think one day "I'm going to learn something", just keep paying attention to everything around you. Maybe go to evening classes, watch documentaries, read books.
The point is that it doing things differently (i.e. not reading something, but watching a documentary about it etc) can help you remember. And there are ways you can improve memory, various exorcises and whatnot.
Learning doesn't have to be forceful, and when it's not 'necessary' (as in, not for school or whatever), it shouldn't be uncomfortable. It should be engaging, pleasurable and leave you with more questions, as well as answers.
I appreciate the post. You're right, maybe I set the bar up too high for myself, but when I think about it, there's not much I'm proud of. Everything I've succeeded in has been ephemeral Confusedhrug:

I'm also busy with actual schoolwork but I only actually learn new things in French and Stats, and the latter I'm certainly going to forget eventually. That's the other problem; I can't seem to hold all the information I learn.
You'll never hold all the information you learn. It's the way memory works - and it's a bitch. There are things you can do though. Repetition (just going over things at short, regular intervals) is a simple solution, as is association techniques (i.e. learning to associate key facts with something familiar - maybe a friend, or an item in the room), and mnemonics too. They can all help.

I think you should stop thinking about things as 'achievements', because it's leading you to believe that everything else is a failure, which is simply not true.
Some people are impressive though. People who know every single movie or song back to back. And more!

Either way, I guess I can take that advice. Thanks.

Still though, I haven't really achieved that much even for my age :\

Think about it, think of these people who have supposedly achieved so much. Imagine how much you think they've done with their life. Now, think of how much they've actually done with their life. Is it really that much?

Alright, let's say hypothetically you haven't achieved anything. That your life has been wasted. Why was it wasted? What stopped you from 'achieving'?

Pfff, that's just a really good memory, doesn't make it useful. My significant other is like that, but I'm way more practical than he is. He might have more knowledge of a lot of things, but it doesn't mean jack shit if you can't apply it. You will never use ALL the info.

I'm 24, and I still haven't graduated from a 4 year school. Granted, I worked for a while and all that, but my point is that age doesn't really matter in terms of achievement. You've plenty of time to achieve lots of great things, man; don't try to rush yourself. Work hard, but enjoy life.
