Not a very effective one if you ask me...

I moderate a small forum, i've seen a lot of adbots just make accounts and do nothing with them for a while, then they add a site or something to their profile/sig/etc, then they post. This can happen over the course of a few months, i'm not kidding.

It's really not active, a post or two every couple weeks.

I basically just check it every couple days to make sure adbots don't spam the old threads, or as i like to call them 'ruins of a long gone civilization;

So it's like that is it? Tell me, has it got prettier themes than us? Are the users funnier? Does it have bigger emotes? Eh? Eh?

No it's nothing like that, it's a forum for a band i love, Unexpect, i basically took the "job" as a global mod just so i could get closer to them.

Come on, if you were offered power over a forum and personal communication to one of your favorite bands wouldn't you take it?
